Austin City Limits Music Festival

Back for its 16th year, Austin City Limits Music Festival (October 6 – 8, 2017 and October 13 – 15, 2017) brings the magic of the famed public TV series Austin City Limits outside the studio and into Austin’s most beloved park. ACL Festival features a diverse lineup of acts every year with 8 stages, more than 140 bands – and best of all, two weekends.

FORMULA 1 United States Grand Prix

International drivers will be in Austin this October to compete in the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas track. This event promises three days of racing, camping, live music events and more – including headlining performances by Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder for ticketholders.

Austin Film Festival
When: October 26th – November 2nd, 2017

There are a plethora of terrific films to be seen and consumed at AFF, many that will be on the verge of release, and that you’ll later discover are Oscar® nominees.  (You can tell your friends, “I saw it before it opened at Austin Film Festival, sucka!”)  You’ll look at our eight-day film schedule and feel like an eight-year-old at an Amy’s Ice Cream counter.  So many movies, so little room!  Lordy, what on earth do I choose?  AFF will be screening film and television premieres galore, plus competition films, documentaries, script readings, etc. with all-star line-ups and Q&As by your favorite writers, actors and filmmakers.

Ironman Austin

Oktoberfest

It is our favorite time of year: Oktoberfest!! This year we’ll be doing a 3-day festival featuring live music every day, German-inspired food, games, and some of the best fall beers we can find.

We’ll have all of our regular favorites on the menu, plus:
Spaetzle (Traditional German flour dumpling browned in butter)
Schnitzel (Pork cutlet, stuffed with bacon lardons and sauerkraut dusted with panko bread crumbs and served over spaetzle with a side of spicy mustard)
Weisswurst (Veal and pork white sausage, poached in beef broth, served with a side of spicy mustard)
German Potato Cakes (with house made apple sauce and sour cream)
