Austin International Poetry Festival

The Austin International Poetry Festival is also known as AIPF.  The festival includes unique Austin venues, diverse themed poetry readings, open mics, workshops, music & poetry, anthology reading, dusk to dawn, and poetry symposium.  AIPF has hosted poets from over 45 countries across the globe.

Lonestar Roundup
When: April 7th and 8th, 2017
Where: Travis County Expo Center

The Lonestar Round Up is a huge outdoor car show and live music festival featuring vintage hot rods and custom cars driven here from all over the country, that has become an annual pilgrimage to Austin for folks from all over the world.

Held on the rolling grounds of the Travis County Expo Center just minutes east of downtown Austin, the Round Up is a unique celebration of cars, culture and music that just has to be experienced in person.

Balloons over Horseshoe Bay Resort
When: April 14th – 16th, 2017

More than 20 hot-air balloons from across America will converge at the annual Balloons over Horseshoe Bay Resort. This year’s festival will feature tethered balloon rides, local live music and the annual evening balloon glow.

Old Settler’s Music Festival
When: April 20th – 23rd, 2017
Where: Salt Lick Pavilion and Camp
Driftwood, TX

Central Texas’ signature music event featuring Grammy-winning Americana, arts and crafts, camping, food and libations. Acoustic jazz, blues and bluegrass are all performed by old-time local favorites and award-winning artists from around the world.

Weird Home Tour
When: April 22nd, 2017
Where: Various locations in Austin

The  Weird Homes Tour was founded to unleash the creativity that we all have inside. To showcase the weird, wonderful, and whimsical people and places that make our world amazing.
