Located in Jonestown, Texas, this gorgeous home exemplifies the options available in a design-build custom home. The client came to our team at Silverton Custom Homes and asked for a home that not only took advantage of the fantastic waterfront views of Lake Travis but also provided ample living space for them and their live-in parents. To ensure they had the space they desired, the clients asked for three bedrooms, two living areas, two kitchens, and two offices.
With this in mind, we got to work putting together a plan that suited their needs. The result is a beautiful home boasting a contemporary style and a walkout basement that offers amazing views of Lake Travis from every room. To provide a completely independent residence for their parents, this home was carved into the hillside and is connected by an interior stairwell. Taking full advantage of the view meant getting creative with parking, so we built a garage on the top level as well as provided parking on the lower level.
The exterior colors and the interior of this impressive home were designed with the help of our sister company, Home Front Design. To create a clean, contemporary interior the design team perfectly blended simple lines, cool colors, and natural accents. The sophisticated design elements of this home create a comfortable living environment and offer the perfect backdrop for the dramatic views of this home to take center stage.
