Our Senior New Home Advisor, Keith Billington, is no exception. Keith joined the Silverton Custom Homes team in 2012 and has continued to be an asset every day since! What do you do at Silverton Custom Homes?
I currently serve as the Senior New Home Advisor and I guide clients through the process of evaluating if Silverton Custom Homes is the right fit for their project. On a day-to-day basis, I help clients establish their needs, wants, and wishes in relation to their budget. I also help design their home alongside one of our award-winning architects and create the construction agreement that is the basis of building their new home.
What attracted you to Silverton Custom Homes?
It’s a rather long story but I’ll give you the summarized version: I was offered the opportunity to work at Silverton Custom Homes after I was laid off on my 50th birthday. Working here was was something that I had always wanted to do but never dreamed of having the opportunity.
What do you like about home building?
I love the creative process of helping clients put their visions onto paper and then watching it be constructed into the final perfect home.

Our team and the many wonderful people I get the chance to work with.

The experience between our staff, our subcontractors, and vendors are unparalleled in our community. We all care about our clients and their new homes.
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to buy a home?
Be very careful about the builder you partner with. Anybody can sell you a home but only a few select builders have the experience and know-how to design your home and maximize your budget.
