2018 U.S. Vintage Racing National Championship
When: November 1-4, 2018
Where: Circuit of the Americas
Austin, TX

Built primarily for Formula 1, COTA is dominated by a very steep four story climb to the top of turn one, which is followed by a long downhill winding section. The track itself is challenging on a world stage, and the facilities are among the best in existence. Vintage cars and drivers from around the globe make their way to this circuit, each hoping to take home the coveted gold helmet. The vintage racing excitement will be complimented with IGT and the Trans Am Series.

10thAnnual Utopiafest

UTOPifest celebrates its Tenth Anniversary of gathering music, community, and nature enthusiasts for one amazing weekend. Austin PowWow & American Indian Heritage Festival

The Austin Powwow is a social gathering where many different Native American communities come together for the largest one day powwow in the country.  For over 25 years, this unique Austin event has featured literally hundreds of Native American dancers, singers, musicians, artists and craftsmen. Family, friends, food, art and culture are enjoyed throughout the day. The songs and dances are disciplined art forms that are not only based on ancient traditions but are also living cultural expressions of creativity and innovation. Thousands of visitors have the opportunity to share in this exciting cultural experience.

The Austin Powwow and American Indian Heritage Festival is a family friendly event.  We seek to engage the public by promoting traditional arts and knowledge, dispelling myths and encouraging appreciation of this rich and diverse culture.  And perhaps most importantly, we never forget our commitment and obligation to Pass Down The Legacy to our children and youth.

Christmas at Caswell House

Since 1983, the Austin Junior Forum (AJF) has ushered in Austin’s holiday season with Christmas at the Caswell House. We’re happy to present our 36th year, Winter Wonderland, November 1st through 8th and December 2nd, 2018.

Every year we look forward to opening our historic Daniel H. Caswell house to the community during this special time. AJF members spend approximately 2000 hours preparing for and hosting our signature fundraiser where guests shop for beautiful ornaments, holiday décor, jewelry, clothing, affordable gifts and delicious gourmet foods. Our guests also attend our many special events.

A Christmas Affair
When: November 15 – 18, 2018
Where: Palmer Events Center

The Junior League of Austin’s 43rd annual A Christmas Affair, Joyeux Noël, will be held November 14-18 at Palmer Events Center. This year’s four-day holiday market is a vintage celebration of the season with a French flair. The Junior League of Austin uses the funds raised at A Christmas Affair to provide essential funding and volunteer hours to programs such as Coats for Kids, FIT-Food In Tummies and over 30 local community non-profits.

This year A Christmas Affair will feature more than 200 merchants from across the country and The Junior League of Austin expects more than 25,000 shoppers to attend. Behind the scenes, a volunteer force of 1,300 League members staff the event, making every detail perfect for the guests. The holiday market opens to the public on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 12 p.m., following a preview event on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar
