As home builders and residents of Austin, it is no surprise to us that Austin was in the list of top 20 places Amazon is considering to build its second headquarters. Austin is a great place to live and work and would make an excellent choice for Amazon. Amazon plans on employing 50,000 employees in the new headquarters, most with a salery of $100,000 or more.

Austin would make a great choice for many reason, not the least of which is the business friendly environment. Austin also has a large population of tech workers and an excellent quality of life. And let’s not forget the music.
