Willie Nelson’s 4thof July Picnic

Live Nation, C3 Presents, and Circuit of The Americas (COTA) are proud to announce the return of Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic to Circuit of The Americas! Legendary Willie Nelson plays host to one of America’s most celebrated festivals, and the 4th of July Picnic returns to COTA for the fourth year, presented by Budweiser. Joining Willie at this year’s party is a star-studded cavalcade of his friends.

Austin Symphony’s July 4th Concert and Fireworks is an Austin Tradition. Free Fireworks, and a Free Live performance for all central Texans. Great food and drinks, and a variety of local Arts & Crafts vendors.

Location: Downtown Austin at Vic Mathias Shores (Formally Auditorium Shores) and the Long Center (600 W. Riverside Dr., Austin, TX).

Independence Day Celebration
When: July 4th, 2018
Where: Hill Country Galleria

Enjoy a day-long sidewalk sale! Stroll the streets of the Galleria and shop your favorite stores with outdoor displays.

New this year, Hill Country Galleria is starting the festivities early at 4 p.m. with backyard games hosted by Camp Gladiator, including three-legged race, potato sack race, obstacle course, tug of war, and more, offering fun for the whole family. All games will be held on the lawn from 4pm-6pm and crowd participation is encouraged. Join in the fun!

Afterwards, bring chairs or blankets and enjoy the live music starting at 6:00 p.m. The Hill Country Galleria is home to over 20 restaurant & food options to suite your dinner time needs. Dine-in or order food to-go to enjoy in the Central Plaza!

The splash pad will run from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on July 4th! Bring swimgear and water shoes for the kids.

Texas Rollergirls

Austin born and bred, Texas Rollergirls was formed in 2003 as the only sports league of its kind. Twelve years later, the sport of flat track roller derby has grown exponentially and is now played by more than 1,000 leagues worldwide. In its current incarnation, roller derby is a genuine athletic competition complete with standardized rules, divisions, annual tournaments and an international governing body: the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) – Texas Rollergirls is one of the founding members. With four home teams bursting with talent and the all-star Texecutioner squad consistently in the national rankings, Texas Rollergirls  the “godmothers of flat track derby”  are an admired and highly visible presence in the roller derby world. Their year-round bouts are regularly covered by local, national, and international media.

Float Fest

Grab your suit and spend the weekend floating with your buds. There’s plenty of music, food and booze at this festival so leave it all at home and come out and enjoy this magical float fest. Camp for a day or the weekend. Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Vodi, White Denim, Toadies and many more great acts will keep you dancing!

Trailer Food Tuesdays
When: Now through August 7th, 2018
Where: The Long Center

The Long Center presents Trailer Food Tuesdays, a part of All Summer Long at the Long Center.

Austin invented food trucks (prove us wrong), so it’s only fair that Austin’s top community gathering place hosts the finest selection of trailer food in Central Texas. Sample new trailers every month while enjoying live music, craft beer, and our beautiful view of the city. Trailer Food Tuesdays is from 5pm – 9pm and is co-produced with Food Trailers Austin, The Peached Tortilla, and Trailer Food Diaries.
