March is here and that means music festivals and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. If you’re looking for events in Austin this March, then you’ve come to the right place. ABC Zilker Kite Festival

The ABC Kite Fest is one of Austin’s best-known annual events. Held on the first Sunday of March, it is the kick-off to the hundreds of springtime activities in Austin.

Everyone is welcome to attend (pets too!). There is no admission to attend or to participate in the contest. Most folks come out to see the spectacular sight of hundreds of kites in the sky and to enjoy a spring day in the park.

SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Conference and Festival

Austin Convention Center and more than 50 venues host noted filmmakers, musicians and multimedia artists from around the world converge to showcase music, film and interactive media during this internationally-recognized event.

Rodeo Austin

Urban Music Festival

The Urban Music Festival 2017 (UMF) celebrates its twelfth year on Friday & Saturday, March 31st & April 1st. This year’s festival will once again be a fun-filled weekend full of great entertainment and community participation.
