Lemonade Day
When: May 5th, 2018

Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. It began in Houston, Texas in 2007. Since then it has grown from 2,700 kids to 1 million kids across North America – including ours!

Each child who registers receives access to the lessons of Lemonade Day like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some.

Pecan Street Festival
When: May 5thand 6th, 2018

Sixth Street (formerly known as Pecan Street) is lined with many historical houses and commercial buildings dating from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. The storied old buildings now house numerous bars, a host of live entertainment venues, tattoo parlors, art galleries, casual cafes, upscale restaurants, and the elegant Driskill Hotel. Live music of every genre abounds. From jazz, blues, and country to rock, hip-hop, beat, progressive, metal, punk and derivations of these, there’s something to whet everyone’s musical pallete. Great food is a staple on Sixth Street, featuring such regional staples as chili, ribs, and Tex-Mex plus steak, seafood, cajun-cooking, and deli.

Finding Euphoria
When: May 11th– 13th, 2018

Finding Euphoria is an intimate electronic music festival on May 12 with two nights of camping, surrounded by a series of music and community events.

Finding Euphoria camping will be capped at 2,000 attendees for a relaxed and intimate experience, with more room to spread out and greater access to shaded areas. This change will also allow us to offer car camping, something so many of you have requested.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at the Driskill

Mother’s Day Brunch at Lakeway Resort

Lakeway Resort will host a Mother’s Day Brunch at TR Restaurant & Lounge on Sunday, May 13 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., offering guests beautiful views of Lake Travis and an assortment of menu options that include but are not limited to:

West Austin Studio Tour

Big Medium’s West Austin Studio Tour (WEST) is a free, annual, self-guided art event spanning two weekends in May. WEST provides opportunities for the public to meet the artists and artisans of Austin in their creative spaces.

Bastrop Music Festival
When: May 17th– 20th, 2018
Where: Various locations in Bastrop
Bastrop, TX

The inaugural Bastrop Music Festival (May 17-20) features more than 30 bands in multiple venues. Make plans to visit this charming Central Texas town and enjoy four days of great music!

Austin Flea at Fall Creek Vineyard at Driftwood

Austin Flea, a traveling, local Artisan market, will be setting up at Fall Creek in Driftwood on Saturday May 19th from 11-5.

2ndAnnual Festival of Good
