Pirelli World Challenge

Get ready for two full days of some of the best sports car racing on earth with more makes and models racing during PWC than in any other racing series! When you aren’t feasting your eyes on the fierce racing, you’ll have access to the paddock to see the cars up close, hear the engines roar as teams work on the cars and speak with the drivers.

Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival
When: September 7th – 10th, 2017

aGLIFF is the oldest and largest gay and lesbian film fest in the Southwest and the largest LGBTQ cultural event in Austin. Experience the festival in September and watch for monthly screenings around town.

Zilker Relays
When: September 8th, 2017

The Zilker Relays is a 10-mile race with teams comprised of 4 runners. Each participant runs a 2.5 mile loop from one central festival/transition area. The team concept of the Zilker Relays is not unique, but the combination of a relay, festival home base, drinks and music, make this experience a favorite for runners of all calibers and ages. You don’t have to train like a marathoner for this one. All you have to do is be willing to run/jog/walk/stroll 2.5 miles, enjoy live music and great food and get 3 of your siblings/kids/buddies/colleagues to come join you for this one of a kind running experience.

Fantastic Fest

Fall Pecan Street Festival

The Pecan Street Festival is one of the largest, and longest-running, arts/crafts and music festivals in the nation presented by The Pecan Street Association, a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization. The festival has been produced by Special Events Live since 2006.
